Quinn

Shining Star!

May 2021

For May, this dancer’s skills have bloomed on the dance floor. It shows that she has been practicing at home! Quinn is focusing during practices and working hard to increase the number of dancers she can perform. Quinn’s question to Miss Joyce, “Are you really sure you want to move? I love this place.” Congratulations, Quinn!

April 2020

Though we were not able to hold a single practice in April, I know that at least two of our dancers danced quite a bit at home. How do I know? They opened our emails and clicked on the practice links.

They emailed and texted with questions about one of the routines and one of them took the time to choreograph a dance during our practice sabbatical. Okay, so the dance was choreographed specifically for me for my birthday but it shows a dedication to dance that we like to see. Thanks, Quinn, it was awesome!

August 2019

August was a big month for our Shining Star. She worked really hard to get proficient with enough dances to be able to join us on the performance stage. Quinn made it a goal to practice each dance 20 times in less than a month so she would have them down pat. She joined us on stage for the first time at the Corn Festival in Shippensburg. Her dad made the two-hour drive just for the occasion and then had to head on back to work right afterwards but was there to see (and video) her first show. Good job, Quinn!
